Welcome to the UConn Men's and Women's Volleyball Club. Men's team competes in New England Collegiate Volleyball League (NECVL) while Women's teams competes in Northeast Women's Volleyball Club League (NWVCL).
The Women's club team is coached by Jung Park, 2007 NIRSA National Coach of the Year. Entering his 15th season with UConn, Jung also coaches at Choate where his team won 2009 New England Prep Boys title. The Men's club team will be coached by Min Yoon. Min, a former All New England selection as libero (UConn '09) is entering his second season.
Women's Club 2011-2012 season is well under its way. UConn women's club won the first NWVCL league tournament of the 2011-2012 season on Oct-16. Women's team went 12-1 overall set record, defeating Northeastern University in the final 2-1. The women will return to action for another NWVCL league tournament on Sunday, Oct-30 at Harvard University.
There are now over 400 Men's and 240 Women's club teams in the country, playing at very high level. If you are interested in participating in collegiate club programs around New England and Northeast Region, contact Jung Park who serves as the commissioner of both NECVL and NWVCL.
