April 3, 2000 - The NWVCL Championships were held at Boston University on Saturday, April 1^st. The UConn Women's team finished the NWVCL Championships losing to the eventual Champion, Penn State, in the Semi-finals. They received great play from everyone. Two players were selected to the All-League team. Logan "Tom" Vasina was selected to the First Team and Lianne Baldwin to the Second Team. Both players were well deserved of the recognition.

The team looked forward to the NIRSA Championships during April 5-8 in Reno, NV. They will train hard for this event. Good luck with with Nationals!
